Liberals mostly get their news from the internet anyway. Conservatives mostly get their news from Fox and AM radios.

Just out of curiosity, what are you basing that on?

The fact that liberals don't have any choice but to do that, and that Fox News is by far the most popular cable news network?

If it is sold to Comcast, Comcast will run it like a business.

The comcast business model is an awesome one - fuck their existing customers as long as they can, get busted repeatedly for illegally throttling customers bandwidth and packet shaping, cry about falling revenue as customers flee once competition comes into the area, then raise their existing customer's rates. I hope they run NBC like that. One less group of useless channels for me to have to flip past.

That's correct. I am a conservative and I am %100 illiterate.

That sounds like a more reasonable explanation. Thanks! smile

I think you might have part of that backwards. Fox News is the most popular channel BECAUSE conservatives don't go anywhere else (except for occasional forays into World Net Daily or whatever the hell it is called). Liberals tend to go skipping around, seeing how stories are being covered from different angles.

Oh, I thought the media was liberal.

So, it's not?

Back to the topic: fucking good. Now I can watch Maddow without having Olbermann's annoying voice come on before I can switch the channel. Douche.

honest mistake. conservatives are used to viewing everything in terms of the $ value, and that goes in front of the number.

Good call, MSNBC.

MSNBC did pretty well with its State of the Union telecast, drawing 2.5 million viewers, up 4% from last year's address, and the only cable news network to increase its audience year-to-year. It was also on par with last year's ratings for the analysis immediately following President Barack Obama's speech. But then things went downhill. From 11 PM-12 AM, MSNBC averaged 1.1 million viewers, down 24% from last year. The difference? Last year, the network had Keith Olbermann anchoring the hour. (To be exact, Countdown with Keith Olbermann aired from 10:45-11:45PM last January.) So 3 days after Olbermann's abrupt exit on Friday night, MSNBC brass may be missing him already.
