I'm from florida too, and I remember the mad -rush for the gallons of water, candles, flashlights, plywood, batteries, canned green-beans, and all sorts of other things. I lived in soflorida for Andrew, Erin, all of the recent big ones. It was pretty scary but you knew it was coming a few days away. Now that I'm in Indiana, it's more scary about Tornadoes. We didn't have those all that often in Florida.
