Reagan On the Dime

Republicans have proposed legislation to replace FDR with Reagan on the dime. Nancy Reagan has come out in opposition to this idea.

Of particular interest to me was this quote:

"The real Reagan, as all but the least impartial observer know, created policies that renewed economic growth, strengthened the resolve of the free world to oppose totalitarianism and restored pride in the United States," wrote Rep. Mark Souder, R-Indiana.

I was planning on posting the entire story, but am having sudden trouble posting a URL. Maybe someone else can post it?

I don't really care either way, but I think I respect FDR as a president and for his accomplishments more than reagan. But that's just me.
