Christianity is different everywhere based on different cultures....to somehow suggest our take on it is worse is closeminded and insulting at the least.

Of course you're right - there are whacked out Christian sects in Europe as well. As an outsider, it certainly appears that the prevalence of extreme X-ianity is much greater in the US than in Europe. Certainly the degree to which Christianity influences politics and social policy seems greater.
Not trying to piss anyone off, just offering an opinion from the sidelines.
Anyone seen the movie Phone Booth that dude was fucked...I just can't see a demand on a cell phone to be as motivating as a lunatic with a sniper rifle. Her husband must be one hell of a motivational speaker.
