Seeing that video made me miss Michael J. Totten. At least he was articulate.

Arrested or worse... I have a feeling that over there they will be less likely to look the other way the way we do here in the States for redneck antics. whatever

No joke. Even NPR is reporting it. I was on my way home from Whole Foods with NPR on... took some effort to keep the car in my lane - sound bites of him playing.

"I'm a Christian. I'm well-protected by God, I believe."

Oh. Well, I guess those Jew and Muslims follow the wrong religion. Nice job, fuck-face.

And apparently, getting a story without the "PC filters" doesn't involve getting Palestinian civilians' opinions.

He's not a journalist. He's a mindless idelogue that a conservative website is sending over there to witlessly reinforce zionism. He's more of a tool.

Is it wrong to hope there is video footage of him being chased out of the country by a combined Israeli/Palestinian mob?

This is good stuff:

Joe the Plumber the Journalist makes a good point. Journalists should not report our troops' location. If the media didn't report that American troops occupy Iraq, for instance, the Iraqis would not know who those troops were. They would just ask each other, "Who are those foreign people in uniform with guns I keep seeing around?" Yet, without the media to tell them, they would just shrug and reply, "I dunno."

Also, Joe got an A in his history class at Revisionist High School. Go fightin' Negationists!!

Some of Joe's comments...

I'll be honest with you: I don't think journalists should be anywhere allowed war. I mean, you guys report where our troops are at. You report what's happening day to day. You make a big deal out of it. I think it's asinine.

What's asinine is a "reporter" reporting about a war by saying it shouldn't be reported on at all. Brilliant start to your new career, dumbtard...

You know, I liked back in World War I and World War II when you'd go to the theater and you'd see your troops on, you know, the screen and everyone would be real excited and happy for 'em.

First off, you weren't even alive during WWI or WWII, so you never saw the propaganda films in the theater. Second off, it was propaganda!!! (Apparently, Average Joe can't tell the difference between reporting and government fluff which, I should add, is illegal nowadays). If you want to feel good about the military and express your support, then just camp your ass on the tarmac and greet the soldiers when they come home, go visit them in the V.A. Hospital, and volunteer to help the vets that are coming back with PTSD... And in case you hadn't noticed, we still get dumb recruitment ads in the previews before movies anyways, so you can still rub one out to that if makes you feel any better...

You know, war is hell. And if you're gonna sit there and say, 'Well, look at this atrocity,' well, you don't know the whole story behind it half the time. So I think the media should have no business in it.

Wow, "war is hell". Thank you for summarizing on the topic, anything more specific to add? No? Well, I guess atrocities should not be reported on, nothing to see here, move on. I guess getting no story is better then getting half of it then. Well, a journalist that refuses to report the news, not that is news. This is why we should leave professionalism to professionals and drop the dumb American schtick.

Also, Id like to see someone reporting while standing in front of all the spent ordinance that's been dropped on Gaza, American ordinance. Perhaps cataloging the location it landed, the cost of damage caused by it and the number of deaths and injuries caused by each weapon. What!?! You mean innocent people are getting killed by American weapons? Gosh, now that isn't even half the story...

He's such an amazing interviewer:

JOE (Interviewing an Israeli reporter): The story here is people are being killed and the media’s slanting it and trying to make it Hamas is, uh, as far as, that Israel’s being bad. Do you believe Israel is bad?

REPORTER: Do I believe it?

JOE: Yeah, do you?!

REPORTER: I’m Israeli, so…

JOE: So answer the question!

REPORTER: No, I don’t think Israel is bad.

JOE: Do you think Israel has every right to protect itself?

REPORTER: Yeah.

[pause]

JOE: You do?!

REPORTER: Yeah.

JOE: Have you said that on air?

REPORTER: I’m just a reporter.

Thank goodness he's so great at remaining unbiased and even-keeled.
