Waiting for a train to the airport, they aroused the attention of a guard who contacted police.
Two officers managed to convince the young lovers that they would struggle to get to Africa without money or a plane ticket.
As a consolation, the children were given a special tour of the police headquarters at Hanover station where they were especially taken with the detention cells.
Their relieved parents picked them up from the station, the spokesman said, adding: "They can still put their plan into action at a later date."
Plus, My cyber-stalking-skillz are not so bad tonight. It was quite hard, because the parents are 48 and 39, thus too old, to have a heavy Internet-trace - and the children are to young. But comparing the news ... the online telephone book and google maps, I found out address, telephone number, a picture of the (mother's) house and their sleeping habbits. ... No, just kidding on the last one. But the couple is still living seperately - that has got to mean something!!! (Hint: If you ever make it into the news, watch your privacy. Or I will hunt you down )
Anyway, I haven't found anyone I know, who knows them. My little village just feels a little metropolisher.
Edit:
@Otoki: I would not fear that. 6 year olds walk to school every morning, yet, I have not heard of any one getting grapped away.

Beside the other stuff you said, you're kidding on this, right?
No, kidding on the other stuff but (here in this town), the little kids go alown to school roughly from the 1st class (thus 6 years) and I have not heard of any kidnappings because of this.
