I feel for those especially who died before their time, like Tim Russert, Bernie Mac, and Heath Ledger.

I saw Bernie at a Obama fundraiser shortly before his death and here is my bad cell photo:

Here's a few I've yet to see on this list:

Steve Gerber - Creator of Howard the Duck.

Thomas M. Disch - The man responsible for The Brave Little Toaster.

Richard Knerr - Co-founder of Wham-O!, he invented the frisbee and the hula hoop.

Stan Winston - Did you like the special effects in Aliens, The Terminator, or even The Monster Squad? You have him to thank.

Don Gillis - I'm sure many fellow Massholes of the right age will best remember his work hosting Candlepin Bowling on Channel 5.

Estelle Getty - Thank you for being a friend.

Rudy Ray Moore - The man was motherfucking Dolemite, that's all the reason he needs to be remembered.

Heath Ledger already won post humorous awards.

I wonder if he'll win the big three? Golden Globe, SAG, and Oscar?

Anyways a lot of other brilliant people died this year.

2008 sucked for these respected people. And also a bad year to start for the Travoltas.
