call me what you will, argue that two wrongs do not make a right, but I would be entirely satisfied witnessing the parents of this little girl beaten to death in the same manner they ended this poor childs life. I'm going to cry now.

It was certainly my first reaction to agree that these people should be made to suffer in much the same manner that they made their daughter suffer, but then as I thought on it, I wondered what purpose does that serve? Who would that satisfy? Certainly not the little girl. And is that really what should come from such a horrible death? More death? How does that solve anything or make anything better? It won't bring her back, and I doubt it would stop other people from abusing their children. In the end, my anger just turns into sadness that such a terrible thing could happen, is probably happening right now (albiet in lesser degrees) to children all over the world, and will probably keep happening. But I can certainly understand your position. The world's an ugly place.

Two wrongs don't make a right.

They don't.

That said, give me half a chance and I'd reduce them to a bloody pulp myself.

That said, I hope they get a fair trial. Then rot in hell.

when i was interning in social work, co-workers who responded to these kinds of bizarre parents-torturing/killing-their-children incidents said that they usually led to the same culprit: crystal meth.

probably not, people don't talk to their neighbors. or it's like the kitty genovese murder in new york where all the witnesses thought that someone else would call the police and just sat there and watched her get murdered.

you know, some people just simply need to be castrated with a rusty chainsaw, for the good of the nation. Normally I'm against the death penelty (not that it's an issue here yet), but i mean, damn... mad mad mad

Having said that, anyone else notice how the article was kinda badly written:
"An 11-year-old girl's parents tied her up in the garage, starved the child and beat her with an umbrella until she died during the Thanksgiving holiday, police said.

The sixth-grader tried to escape her home in Stockbridge just south of Atlanta, but she was only punished more severely -- she was left without food, water, a bathroom or a bed, police said. " Wow, after they beat her to death she tried to escape, and they took away food and water for it.

PS. Don't hate me, this is what i do, i make bad jokes in tragic situations

otherwise it serves no purpose."
