?? If this is true, good luck. May I suggest rallying up the loved ones and staying the hell away from the windows. Lock your doors as well.

that was a fun one...always nice to count over twenty rounds from two possibly three weapons being fired right down in the goddamn street. Usually these interludes are more common place in the summer, not when its fucking 25 degrees outside..., and never so many rounds.

There is a very good reason my bed is not near the windows and lower than the brick walls.

the dog is fine.

the cops never even showed up! (not that I called them)

I think I'm gonna go look for shell casings cause I'm bored.

Ya gotta wonder why they call this the City of Brotherly Love sometimes tongue

I'm so glad I'm Canadian when I read stuff like this.
I just don't understand what my American cousins don't get about gun control.

fucked up about the gun shots. I once went into a very poor area of st. louis working with a camp for the younger kids, basically just to give them something to do you know. And the first day there was a drive-by on a guy who was walking, literally, across the street from us. All the kids who lived there just kept on playing. It was a very enlightening moment in my life.

Whee!
Thanks, Stiles my fellow Philadelphian;
I bet that will work worlds better than the oak desk i threw out the window at those pesky crackheads LAST winter.
And since it's flash surpressed, I'm betting it won't cause as much light -bright as the 2 gallons of kerosene followed by a lit road flare, that i threw out at those zany drug addled ruffians this past spring,

(oddly enough, the cops did come for that one)
biggrin eeek

Stick your head out the window and remind the shooters that discharging a firearm in city limits is illegal.

You know, gun control works really well, we just need to get the criminals to give up their guns. shocked

Please don't open up that can of worms. There's about 50 pages and thousands of posts on the subject in this site already and nobody's gotten anywhere or accomplished anything over it--usually digresses into some inane rant about how it is possible to manufacture your own firearms or something rediculous like that.

Oddly enough, while it's not perfect, you're more right than you know. You wouldn't believe how comparatively safe we are over here.
