I didn't actually get to try that, was just on my way out the door when I found it so I thought I'd post it here and let people experiment.

They do it to TV as well I was in the PRC on business last spring and was watching CNN international and suddenly the channel went to snow, then went back on the air after a few minutes, then later the same thing happened again, and again, and to BBC as well. After a while one of the censors slipped up and cut the channel *after* they had said a word or two about Tibet, then it went to snow.

Some people in the USA think it is peachy keen to pull the plug on the "wrong" kind of programming, like Rush, or Faux news.

I suggest you live it for a while first, when a news source you prefer is censored by people you do not agree with, see how you like it.
