THE EVIDENCE IS HERE: This document contains over 60 pages of evidence and analysis proving Barack Obama's use of a little-known and highly deceptive and manipulative form of "hack" hypnosis on millions of unaware Americans, and reveals what only a few psychologists and hypnosis/NLP experts know.
I found this on another forum, contributed by one of the more certified liberal loons. On first blush my sentiments were "yeah right." But because it was Sunday morning and a slow news day, I decided to indulge my curiosity and my funny bone and have a look see into this assertion of mass hypnosis by one Barack Obama.
Needless to say, what I found was not only intriguing, but captivating in both presentation and common sense reality. What this writer has to say and the way that he presents his argument, not only captivates the imagination? But also causes the reader to call forth the images of their own personal recollections, while the author utilizes his own observations and experience to make his points and his arguments for the assertions he is representing.
While reading this paper and the explanations of hypnotic techniques being employed by Barack Obama? It crossed my mind and occurred to me to think and reflect upon precisely what it is that makes a charismatic speaker charismatic in the first place? What makes their speaking ability appear so gifted and what is it about their presentation that entrances and enthralls the listener to hang on their every word and to follow along like the mindless myrmidons and lemmings of our historical reference.
And as I read the author's presentation the thought kept bouncing back at me that these are the very same techniques and principles (as being described) employed and deployed by all successful "preachers" and "charismatic speakers" historically. And that someone at some point had simply sat down and applied analytical thinking and deduction to the process of successfully leading people through manipulative speaking.
And where better to learn these techniques for a young Barack Obama, than at the feet of the professed and by observing and emulating the performances of charismatic preachers and others in his own life.
This is where Barack Obama had his "Eureka moment" in my estimation. This is where Barack Obama learned to practice what is literally and correctly being described in this paper as a hypnotic technique, designed for no other purpose than to cultivate deceit and and a political following by the practitioner.
I challenge all who are interested in knowledge and the workings of their environment, especially as it concerns politics and mass media and the marketing of Obama's supposed change, to indulge yourself for about forty five minutes and read this man's observations of what he has seen clearly as the purposeful manipulation of the American psyche by Barack Obama and more importantly, by those in the background supporting him and steering him..
Then having chased down the real rabbit hole of what has been placed afoot and in play against all the citizens of this country as revealed by this author's paper? Please pass along your newly acquired knowledge and ensure that as many people as possible are exposed to it over the next two weeks.
And in the interim, remember that Barack Obama has booked prime time air time on all major networks the week before the election. A thirty minute block of prime time TV on the 26th of October. (Costing hundreds of millions) Presumably for his seal the deal last pitch to the American voters. Absent the influences and distractions of either his opposition or the mainstream media at large, Obama intends to make his pitch to the people. In other words, Barack Obama intends to have a private "mono y mono" moment with as many Americans as he can snare into watching his last big performance before the election.
I for one intend to be there. Somehow or another, I haven't been either mesmerized or hypnotized by his rhetoric and presentation techniques. not surprising really, as on the two occasions in my life when people have attempted to hypnotize me? It didn't work. Therefore, I fully intend to watch his program on the 26th, just to see what is represented and with my newly acquired understanding of just how the messiah is accomplishing his cult like following? I intend to pass the word with a redoubled effort before it is too late for this country.
so of course this is ridiculous, and so you know I told him that. Then he told me that atheists are easier to hypnotize for some reason.
Okay, With that last line from you, I have to asume, that this is no parody from his side. Makes it twice as funny.
It is probably made up in a totally unscientific psychological study (if at all), but I could imagine, that atheists are in fact easier to hypnotise. To get hypnotised, you usually need to relax your mind and if you think about "What might god think about this whichcraft?" in the back of your head, than you are not relaxing.
And hypnotising crowds without their help? Twice impossible.

Back on topic:
The thing about hypnosis is that it's virtually impossible to hypnotize a large group of people, no one can be hypnotized without their consent and it's impossible to make any hypnotee behave in a way that goes completely contrary to their normal behavior patterns.
On the other hand there may very well be an element of truth to the story. Not that it's by any means intentional. Milton Erickson revolutionized hypnotherapy with the idea of conversational hypnosis. Essentially he realized the power of speech and conversational techniques in opening people to suggestibility. It's not even a new idea. people have been using the power of words to manipulate other peoples emotions and ideas since speech was invented. It's called elocution. Essentially what this document means is that Obama is an effective speaker with the ability to unite and inspire. Sounds like a good quality in a leader.
Maybe he's just better at giving speeches because he's fucking educated?
Dear friends, In these times, with extremely serious, complicated crisises confronting us both economically and internationally, we need to have intelligent, educated people as president & vice president:
Educational Background:
Barack Obama:
Columbia University - B.A.
Political Science with a Specialization in
International Relations.
Harvard - Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude
Joseph Biden:
University of Delaware - B.A. in History and B.A. in Political Science.
Syracuse University College of Law - Juris Doctor (J.D.)
vs.
John McCain:
United States Naval Academy - Class rank: 894 of 899
Sarah Palin:
Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester
North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study
University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism
Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester
University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. in Journalism
As far as the hypnosis thing, I would be seriously worried about anybody who thought a person can control a crowd's physical actions merely by speaking at them.
I don't want to lend any credence to this poor bastards paranoia but Derren Brown, the British mentalist, has some neat tricks with subconscious suggestion, like a bit where he makes a good chunk of his audience forget the last half of his show once they had left the theater.
Another stunt called 'The Heist' was very disturbing when he made three out of four white collar volunteers rob an armored car just by planting subconscious ideas in their head during what they though was a motivational seminar.
The Gathering
The Gathering was a specially recorded as-live show at a secret location (hidden from the audience) with an invited audience of students from Roehampton University, celebrities, psychologists, psychics, taxi-drivers and magicians. It was filmed on 18 May 2005 and broadcast on 29 May. As part of the show Brown recalled streets, page numbers and grid references from the Greater London A-Z map. Also pseudo-psychic "mind reading" and "remote viewing" activities were recreated. During the show, Brown hypnotised the audience as a group and convinced them that for approximately half an hour after leaving the room, they would have no memory of the events. Furthermore, the word "forget" was intermittently flashed very briefly on the backdrop throughout the performance. A variety of audience members were interviewed afterwards; some of them couldn't recollect anything (but were nevertheless very impressed); brief clips of these interviews were shown. One of the most memorable stunts was getting a London taxi driver to choose a street in London and then choose and mentally drive a random route. This was achieved by drawing a line on a map of London made of stuck together A-Z pages. He started in Buckingham Palace and ended up in Shepherd's Bush Green, the street in which the secret performance took place.
The Heist
The Heist was shown on 4 January 2006 at 21:00, on Channel 4. In the show, Derren Brown used his skills on selected participants who answered an ad. "Under the guise of a motivational seminar" (where they would allegedly learn Derren Brown's skills) Brown eventually got participants to rob a security van - in what was ultimately an elaborate set up. The robbery involved holding up a security van and guard (played by an actor) with a realistic-looking toy pistol that Brown had given them earlier, and taking a case filled with real money from him. Four people were selected to carry out the robbery from an initial field of thirteen, with three of them actually carrying out the "robbery". The idea was that after the conditioning they received, they would voluntarily rob the van of their own accord. There was no mention of the 'crime' to the participants, and they were not (directly) instructed to do it. The three that did it did so as a result of the conditioning and their own choice, not instructions from any third party including Brown.
Brown associated colour, music and phrases to build the participants into a highly-motivated state, converging all of those psychological empowerment tools into a single set up. The seminar subliminally anchored freedom, childhood, opportunity and romance into various criminal acts. After having previously been convinced to steal sweets from a shop based in Codicote High Street in Hertfordshire (for real), they were shown the euphoria that could be gained from criminal acts.
This programme also contained a re-enactment of the Milgram experiment carried out by Stanley Milgram in the 1960s with the aim of selecting four of the most obedient of the group. 65% of the subjects in this experiment were willing to administer lethal electric shocks to another person on the instruction of an authoritative figure (unbeknown to the subjects, the electric shocks were not actually real); these were the same results as Milgram himself found.

Well, Criss Angel made an elephant disappear right in front of thousands of people, and Todd Bentley can cure fucking cancer just by kicking you in the face.
I'm wouldn't worry about Derren Browns shennanigans lending any credence to this.
It's been a long time since I took sociology. But it seems that analyzing herd mentality, and leaders throughout history that were able to manipulate it, I always found fascinating.
This isn't an attempt to godwin the thread, but who was it that Hitler was a fan of, Le Bon? Tarde? ahh, I can't remember.
That's what these emails are about, if u c wot i did there.
It's funny that I found this because I said that even before I saw this thread! I personally am a McCain supporter, and I just can't see our country run by anyone with the middle name "Hussien" Sorry! I recently saw a bumber sticker that read "Borack "Hussein" Obama... You've gotta be fucking kidding me!!!" I found it quite funny!
It does seem to me that he has a spell on most of America! I just hope all of his supporters won't be sorry and that I'm wrong!

I really hope that you have better reasons to support McCain other than that the other candidate has a name you just happen to dislike.

No there are many more reasons than just that one! Not to mention it's not just a name that I don't like! It's also the name of one of our enemies! I have seen so much evil come from the country that that name derives from that I can't help but be a little erie on the subject!

Wow. The only victim of spell-casting evidenced in this this thread is you. The fear tactics of hate and ignorance seem to be deep-rooted in your brain.
What does his middle name have to do with anything?

No. It's not. We killed him after we illegally invaded his country. He was a shitbag, but he was our shitbag, so it's even arguable to exactly what extent he was our "enemy" before the Bushes came along.
As far as "Hussein" (you do undermine yourself when you constantly misspell things, by the way) as a name goes, it is also the name of a king of an allied nation of ours. And it was his first name. King Hussein of Jordan.
But as you are a McCain supporter, I suppose it would be somewhat silly for me to think you'd be up on world events and politics.
Put another way: Shall we never elect anyone named "Joseph" or "Robert Lee" or "Jefferson?" Are you posting tongue-in-cheek when you say "OMG his middle NAME!?" Are you quite serious?

The fact that your name so closely resembles a highly addictive opiate is a little "erie" too.

It's of muslim decent, and all of our (america's) enemies within the past decade have been of that religion (part of the world) however you'd like to put it! It's just something I took notice to! I usually don't post in here though because I don't like to argue over politics!

Maybe so but if you don't like me because of my name so be it, not to mention the fact that it's heroine as in female hero! Everyone has an opinion. As I said I'm not trying to argue!

The Current Events board is dedicated to discussion and debate. People are going to argue with you here. If you don't want to be argued with, maybe you shouldn't post here.
Just because it's "your opinion" doesn't somehow make it above discussion and reproach.

That's some logic you got going on there.
Obama is a Christian. McCain has stated so.
Secondly, Muslims are not our enemies.
There is no argument going on. What you are saying is factually incorrect.
