Ok, I'm looking at getting a few things to wear on election day. A pin. Maybe a t-shirt. Things like that. So, I swing over to the official Obama website and hit their store.

Nebraskans for Obama Lapel pin? Sold out.
HOPE men's t-shirt (black) in my size? Sold out
HOPE men's t-shirt (charcoal) in my size? Sold out
Several of the Obama Posters? Sold out
Obama Face t-shirt (khaki)? Sold out

So far, all I can find that I want is a pin frown

But all in all, unless there are huge numbers of McCain supporters who are buying up all the merch. to keep it out of supporters' hands, I think this is a good sign.

But I wanted the Nebraska lapel pin. Then I'd wear my one and only suit (that makes me look like I'm in the Mafia) and see if anybody wants to say anything to me about it. biggrin

Everyone's replacing their old Che shirts with new HOPE shirts. That's a lot of inventory to cycle through.

In barely related news, I think the HOPE stuff is probably the best, and definitely the most popular propaganda the Obey campaign has ever done.

That's not fair. Statler and Waldorf were intentionally funny.

Jeez. It's no wonder he can afford to buy 30 minutes of network TV time. He must be making some serious cash on all of this merch.

Actually, I think that only counts for poll workers. You're just not allowed to campaign for a candidate within a certain distance of a polling place.

Looks like it varies, state to state.

Says nothing about Nebraska . . . plus I'll be so far in the minority that I doubt I'll be exerting "undue influence" over anyone.
