the jet is a charter plane, dingus. there's hundreds of people up here who are rich enough to afford the $5g an hour price tag for it who would be interested in being there for the VP announcement tomorrow.

i seriously doubt Palin would go by expensive charter jet after berating Murkowski so heavily for his jet he got himself, even if McCain was footing the bill. Stevens and Young are political suicide picks, thanks to the investigations, and the young Lisa Murkowski is too tied to the her elder Senate compatriot, whom she basically plays lap dog to.

The governor is the top of the executive branch of the state government. The State Troopers are under subordinates of hers within the executive branch. Her brother-in-law is a State Trooper. Her brother-in-law is a drunk, and abusive husband, and tased the governor's 10 year old nephew. Her brother-in-law's superiors would not fire him because of the Blue Wall phenomenon. The governor, their boss, overrode them and ordered them to fire her brother-in-law.

That is the 'scandal': Palin did the right thing. She 'abused' her power to fire a POS public employee, a POLICEMAN, who happened to be a relative. If she got a POS relative a public job using her power, then you have a scandal.
