It is from ABC indirectly. Good reporting in that a secret service detail was seen by reporters deploying around Biden.

While it seems ridiculously unlikely I'm kind of hoping he's managed to fool the entire media and secretly picked someone else.

Bonus points if Biden is in on it.

This is why I hate mainstream media. They're reporting on a report by another news outlet that secret service have been dispatched to Biden's location.

Hmmmm ... I just refreshed the CNN page to see if they updated with an article of any kind, and the red banner is gone with no mention of the Biden deal.

Did CNN jump the gun here?

Yeah, The Wall Street Journal says it's a done deal too. They're citing a "Democratic party source."

Reuters is running with it now, headlining Obama picks Biden as his running mate, but they are citing CNN.

Also, total dick move, CNN. I wanted to be surprised by my text tomorrow while running errands, and start yelling out the VP pick's name in the middle of the grocery store or something.
