check out this post by a guy who worked 6 years in the fox newsroom...

link

"...the roots of FNC's day-to-day on-air bias are actual and direct. They come in the form of an executive memo distributed electronically each morning, addressing what stories will be covered and, often, suggesting how they should be covered."

"The Memo was born with the Bush administration, early in 2001, and, intentionally or not, has ensured that the administration's point of view consistently comes across on FNC."

...and now there's a reply from fox (two posts above the previous link).

"Mr. Reina's premise about "the memo" is unfounded. People are proud to work here."

"Now Fox has a new rule that we can't do those little fake news crawls on the bottom of the screen in a cartoon because it might confuse the viewers into thinking it's real news," he said.

i don't see why they have to come up with stupid reasons for their defensive actions. if they really thought people were this stupid, they'd just make the "appropriate" changes and let the public eventually forget about it.

lol i fell over when i saw that episode.

maybe fox can sue themselves for coming up with the idea of allllllmost flying a plane (under remote control) into the world trade center a few months or so before september eleventh~
on the pilot episode of Xfiles spinoff 'the lone gunmen'...

"...bring down a fully-loaded 727 into the middle of New York City; you'll find a dozen tin-pot dictators all over the world, just clamoring to take responsibility. And begging to be smart bombed."

video here, a must see:

My favorite part:
"The more closely you followed Fox, the more misperceptions you had," said Clay Ramsay, PIPA research director.

Here's the press release from PIPA itself:

I wonder how much coverage FOX gave this astonishing bit of news?
