Oh christ, the richest .01% of this country have the largest amount of the tax burden. Which is a world-the-fuck-away from everyone getting paid twenty dollars a month, regardless of their occupation.
You're new, so I would do well to inform you that arguing with stockula on the flawed logic of comparing per capita income is an exercise in futility.

While Obama's distribution is clearly superior, without spending cuts, both plans will be bad long term.
Go back to the kiddie table libby, the parents are talking.

Not at all, I was here for the glory days of Stockula posting pictures of John Kerry with captions in French and passing that off as both discourse and wit.
I know what I'm getting into, but like a decent horror movie, I can still be shocked by him.

Here's a simple equation: Rollback the Bush tax cuts, balance the budget. Withdraw from Iraq, generate a surplus. Invest in technology and education and achieve long-term innovative and economic advantage. Finally PAY DOWN THE CRIPPLING DEBT!!!
This is why I'm voting for Obama. He's the only one with the possibility of being elected that has a decent plan for getting rid of our national debt.
Punishing the poor for being poor and useless and not giving them a security net will spur them to be productive and not a useless drain on the productive.
Ok, so according to you, if someone is poor, they are useless.
I don't know if you can wrap your brain around this (since its existance is still questionable), but lets try anyway.
Who are the poor people? They are farmers, teachers, factory workers, retail employees, restaurant workers, day-care workers, home health care workers, nurses, students, civil employees, public defenders, homemakers, house cleaners, carpenters, artists, writers, dancers . . . want I should go on? These are all people who, in many cases, make 30k per year or less. If they have even one child, they are living in poverty or near poverty.
Which of these people are useless, stockula? Other than yourself, that is.
