A man who lives in America was driving drunk in Mexico and drove through a bunch of cyclists in a race. Three died, while three were severely injured.

Campos said he is an American citizen. Now, let's see if Lou Dobbs and Bill O'Reilly freak out over this immigrant crime.

Oh, and imagine if I had used correct grammar in the headline.

he's lucky that the police were right there in escort, otherwise it sounds like his cause of death would officially be Death By Bicycle Insertion. can't say as i'd blame the cyclists.

It was not three who died it was one. One too many.

Thanks Juan Campos for helping to keep the image of the ugly American alive and well. I hope you spend many long miserable years in a Mexican prison.

That's comparing apples to garbage cans. He wasn't an immigrant, he was an American citizen in Mexico...according to the information provided.

You're really stretching.

Hell...you even misquoted the source you quoted. According to the article...1 dead-10 injured.

You kinda suck at this.

as bad as this incident is, it really is pretty disingenuous to try and spin it as the flip side of the immigrant debate.

What's being completely wrong like? What I linked to has been removed. It did indeed say three had been killed. So, you're kind of sucking at pointing out sucking.

Secondly, I wasn't being serious with the immigrant line. It's called exaggeration. Try lightening up, as you've fallen back into your old cunty ways.

Plus, if you don't think Lou Dobbs and his kind would flip out over a Mexican citizen killing American bikers in the reverse situation - here legally or not- you haven't been paying attention to life.

And back on ignore you go.

If a Mexican citizen were visiting America and the same thing happened, the Mexican would be tarred as an "illegal", and offered up as proof that those evil illegal Mexicans are violent animals. (Even though immigrants commit less crime than citizens.)

How do you figure he'd be considered an "illegal"? No doubt there'd be a plethora of racist sentiments exchanged, but I fail to see how a Mexican citizen would automatically be considered an "illegal" merely for visiting.

Unless I missed something...Mexican citizens are allowed to visit this country with the proper documentation...like everyone else, are they not?

That is how it's supposed to be, but it isn't that way in many places frown
As someone living in Arizona with a sheriff like Joe Arpaio and a local media willing to "suggest" that a brown-skinned person who committed a crime may be illegal, it is easy to see how it could and would be spun, no matter a person's citizenship. I've seen it many times on the local news ("We haven't heard yet, but it is suspected that the person they have in custody is in the U.S. illegally," etc), not to mention the profiling that goes on among legal citizens who just happen to have dark skin.

We're talking about the same country where people have said they won't vote for Barack Obama because he's a Muslim. America - land of the free, home of the stupid.
