I have to vote on the board for my local volunteer fire department. Far less exciting.
Only if you're not on fire. Otherwise, it becomes very exciting and important.
I'm pretty sure that can be said of anything, especially swimming.

I'm afraid. I'm very afraid.
What will it take for Clinton to stop destroying the Democratic party? A 20 point loss? A 30 point loss? a 100 point loss?
Maybe she should ask McCain to be her vice-presidential candidate for the Republican nomination. She's 3/4 of the way to being a republican now, anyway. I'm just waiting for her to start talking about prying her gun out of her "cold, dead hands."

How can you be on fire if you're swimming?
How can you say that swimming is not both exciting and important if you're on fire?
Anyhow, my predictions:
Indiana: Clinton by 4
NC: Obama by 9
Clinton falls so far behind in the popular vote that she can't claim a lead regardless of what metric she uses. Nevertheless, she calls the day's results "a wash" and ignores NC to focus on the "struggles" she had to "overcome" and the "advantages Obama had" in Indiana (nevermind that she's been expected to win Indiana as long as people have been thinking about how Indiana will vote). Meanwhile, Obama stresses the need to bring the contest to a close and move on to face McCain. Both candidates' messages are designed to appeal primarily to Superdelegates.
Tomorrow: Obama is a little more ahead, Clinton is a little more behind. Other than that, nothing changes. Howard Dean's head explodes.
I officially declare that I will not, no matter how tempting, watch any CNN coverage of this tonight. I am not fond of any cable news coverage at this point, but I really would like to surf that Blitzer guy's head in an airport toilet.
I'll watch the Celtics game, have a few beers, and get some sleep. Hopefully when I read tomorrow's paper, this mess will be a little closer to completion, and I may start thinking kindly about this country again.
I will vow to do the same by banning CNN, I actually felt like throwing the remote at the TV during the Penn Primary. I'd opt for a bus station toilet swirly for Wolf's head instead... Preferably one with the blue water in it and Lou Dobbs to keep him company .
I miss Dean. Obamamania is great and all, but last time around Dean was the bee's knees. He's still my guy. I'm not sure if I like him as DNC Chair, though. But this is OT.

Last big primaries left. Maybe today something will be decided.
My predictions:
Indiana: Obama by less than 10%
North Carolina: Obama by ~12%
But I am often wrong.
I think Clinton will win Indiana and if Obama wins North Carolina it wont be a big lead. And I think McCain will lose a good % of the vote just like last time.
