Poor guy; I feel bad for anyone who comes on with Alzheimer's. I was jsut watching "Planet of the Apes" on TMC the other night.
I may not have agreed with his politics, but he was certainly a stand up act.
Mr. Heston was always able to channel some energies into the public arena. He was an active supporter of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., calling him "a 20th-century Moses for his people," and participated in the historic march on Washington in 1963. NYT
I was starting to think I had signed on to the wrong site. Thanks FTR.
What is with the rest of you?
Good riddance crazy old man!
I'm sorry, I was too busy looking at the breadth of the man's works and regretting the loss of someone who had in his life done much good to call someone who has been dead for less than a day a "crazy old man".
