I always thought that thing was neat when they first started talking about them. I still think it is. It was a little creepy at first, in the woods, but then I felt kind of sad for it when it when the dude kicked it and it slipped on the ice.

I watched it with no sounds so I have no idea what the buzzing crap everyone is talking about is, so, yeah.

when i first caught that sunday night, it unnerved me something fierce. having watched it several times now, it doesn't bother me.

i think what it was is that it caught me off-guard. i didn't think that we'd gotten quite this far with robot locomotion, so i had a hard time seeing it as a robot. seemed more like something out of Lovecraft, like a pack mule from Yuggoth. the idea that i'm actually watching something real that might be connected to one of Lovecraft's ineffable horrors is unsettling, to say the least.
