No. Saudia Arabia doesn't have the technical or industrial capability. I don't think they can readily acquire it either, unless they radically overhaul their society.
Pakistan would sell to them, and see the sale as not only money in its empty pockets, but helping a fellow muslim nation join the nuke club. Nuclear proliferation follows when you're a superpower brandishing your sabre in the middle east. The Saudis probably see nukes as the only insurance against Israeli and U.S. incursion. Thank you President Bush for reviving the spectre of nuclear mutually assured destruction as a military deterent.
nuclear weapons and their proliferation sucks, and i oppose any person who thinks nuclear weapons are acceptable warfare, the rosenberg's were murdered for being compassionate and making a statement that other intellectuals were afraid to make at the time, i feel it is every humans right to oppose such aberrations to our exsistence as nuclear weapons and their proliferation by anybody...
Well if Saudi Arabia ever got nuclear weapons...i'd be moving to a nice quiet corner of the world where people didn't hate me for being from the US like say....Australia. That aside, i like LEwis Black's comments on Saudi Arabia..."It's a Sandals Resort for Dickwads."
