that dude was my hero as a kid. my Evil Knievel toy bike was my pride and joy.

since it's physically impossible for that man to actually die, i'm going to go ahead and assume that he just got tired of being awesome all the time and wanted to relax for a while, so he pretended to die.

his next stunt will be punching his way out of his coffin and jumping across a river on his headstone.

Aw man. I loved that guy when I was growing up. I remember going to the theater as a kid and seeing the movie about him and On Any Sunday as a double feature. good times.

I remember watching his shit on World Wide of Sports when I was a kid (Snake River, anyone?) and he truly was larger than life. Also, his action figure/motorcycle were freaking awesome.

It's really amazing that he lived as long as he did.

I used to like him. Unfortunately, he was a pretentious prick in real life. Drank his liver away, got a transplant, then started drinking that one away too. He was the ultimate grumpy old man. Do a little research on his later life, and you would find that he was far from a hero. He was a greedy, self righteous, self destructive megalomaniac. I'm not saying this to be a hater, just to inform people that they should watch who they worship. The truth is often very different from the image.

He tried to get a buddy of mine to fuck his wife about five years ago in Vegas. Evel wanted to sit in the corner and watch. My buddy passed.

I would do it, but only if I got to wear his daredevil suit.
