I started to think about how funny it would be if the two RIP threads were identical in replies. Then I had to stab myself in the eye with a letter opener 'cause, I mean, come on.

It's when you realize that you have nothing good to say that you want to say the most.

Edited to say: Dammit, that's not what I meant. It's not that I had nothing good to say about John Ritter. It's that what I would have to say would no doubt be shallow and pointless.

I had a friend in jr. high who was a soccer player , very fit & healthy . . . she was playing soccer one day , sat down on the bench and fell over backwards . I guess she was dead before she hit the ground , anurism (sp? ) . her brain just popped and that was that . anyhow . . .

that really scares me... he had a heart problem that he wasn't aware of, and it could just happen to anyone you know? the symptoms are so common that you wouldn't think it would be something so major.

This is depressing. frown He didn't have a chance with a heart valve defect that could never be detected. On the news, a physician said 50% of people who have a dissection of the aorta die before they get to the hospital, and the other 50% are left with severe, irrepairable damage to the kidneys, and the brain.
Who didn't grow on Three's Company? He was hilarious on Conan Obrien. I bet Dana Carvey was thinking 'this man is crazier than me'. I never watched his new show, but I heard it was a massive hit. I hope they just end the show.

You never really think about how fatal a simple misunderstanding between roommates can be until something like this happens.

Yeah, same here. Remember that one episode with the big misunderstanding, no not THAT one, hehe, the one where he, Janet and Chrissy get that pot (as in ceramic) from Mexico, and Mr.Furley eavesdrops, etc.etc.

Sad sad sad am I. frown

i may be late in responding to this, but "Three's Company" is like THE SHOW. I mean I make sure to watch the reruns every night on Nick at Night even nowadays. John Ritter has always been one of my favorite people. It's such a shame. He was an excellent actor and a wonderful man. RIP.

I was watching a tribute to him on TV Land the other day and they were playing a show called "Three's a crowd." Anyone else remember that show ? I am pretty sure it was a spin off of Three's company.
