San Deigo on Fire!

I guess most of the area in san diego where i grew up is on fire right now.

All my friends are being put on evacuation watch and on call for reverse 911 calls (which is where the government calls you and tells you to get the fuck out immediately because you are in danger). they're not allowed to use cell phones and the sky is completely blocked out with smoke. As in you can't see the sun and it's dark out.

But the highschool i went to which is only 1 mile away from the fire and in the direction that it is going is still in session. They must have a damn good sprinkler system.


Ok correction. They just closed down the school. I have a feeling all my childhood homes will be gone by the end of the day along with half of my friends homes. And all this spans a good 5 miles.

It's crossing freeways into neighborhoods and is pushing rapidly into Chula Vista. I'm being kept updated by some friends in there that haven't been evacuated yet. It's jumping over lakes and burning the dehydrated brush in that area at an almost alarming rate. I saw almost alarming because i'm think that after the bad fires they had there in 2003 you think they would have done something about the brush by now. They must have seen this coming :/

Well i couldn't get to my sg page to post it as a blog. The site was lagging really bad and i was already on the silliness page so it required less waiting. So it went here. Sorry for the lack of silly.
