I went to the gas station today for cigarettes. Outside the door a guy walks up to my friend and me and says:

"Excuse me, can you help me..."

I ask, "What, help with what?" He hesitates for a few seconds like he's reaching for what he's gonna say next and then continues.

"My wife... my wife is in the river."

We were fucking shocked that he would use the tragedy to try and get some change from us. That was fucking ridiculous. And it looks like you're reaching just as hard to turn this into a joke. These commercials have been out for months, you know, so don't be an asshole.
