Rifftrax has been extremely hit or miss. I'm thinking Film Crew will take a few episodes before it starts getting good. The first one was ok. I just pray they keeping churning these out. There should be no doubt that there's a market for this.

as if I don't spend too much money on goofy crap I don't need, now I know about rifftrax? (I use the phrase don't need loosely here, because I could totally justify the purchase of a half of those...I mean the WIlly Wonka one has Dougee Houser!

that said...I only wish I had cable so that I could enjoy MST3K once again!

It's not on TV anymore, unfortunately. It hasn't been on Scifi in a long time. Not even reruns.

I'll have to admit to being so excited I didn't actually read the article...just assumed that some charitable soul had renewed the television series.

Mike, Bill and Kevin sometimes do live RiffTrax shows - two recently in the Bay area. First was Daredevil, second was Over The Top,

These shows are insanely awesome. With a live audience their timing goes diabolical, and you can barely breathe. Any MST3K fan should try to see them live, and badger them to tour more.

I currently have the Fifth Element Rifftrax on my iPhone, and have listened to several and have enjoyed them all (Top Gun was pretty good, but that's almost trivially easy)

I also have Willy Wonka, which I've yet to listen to, but I can't wait.

Willy Wonka was disappointing to me inasmuch as I thought Neil Patrick Harris's delivery sucked. My favorite Rifftrax so far is probably Troll 2, mainly because the movie could have easily been on MST3K.
