He "believed he had hit someone"? I hope he gets put away for a long time.

This is why Paris Hilton needed to go to jail. Too many people fail to comprehend the risk they pose to others when they drive drunk. Or maybe they just don't care.

Selfish, narcissistic masters of rationalization. And they don't care.

Until they're in trouble.

There was another case like this not too long ago. I forget where. I think in that one, though, the driver left the guy in her garage for like, 3 days untill he finally died. So... people are pretty awesome

Ok, who wants to start a petition to have people who are guilty of manslaughter/homicide via DUI or DWI to be used as crash test dummies??? Just a thought although this generally goes against my principles (something about the cruel punishment part. Its the unusual punishment part that I find intriguing...)

I heard the same thing happened about a year ago when an old man ran into a pedestrian. He just kept driving like he was on a Sunday stroll with a person sticking right out of his windshield. You think you'd notice...

CALL A FUCKING CAB YOU NITWIT DRUNKS!!!

Yeah, it was in St. Petersburg, and it happened around Halloween. I believe he finally got stopped at a toll booth or something. The guy thought it was a prank. He wasn't drunk though, he was just really old, he thought the body fell from the sky. I could be wrong but I think he had Alzheimer's.

I'm most surprised by the fact that he parked his car in his garage. I've never known anyone who actually could fit their car inside their garage due to all the shit they have stored in there.

I think this case was what the CSI episode was based on.

Guy would have live had he recieved medical attention. And nobody knew about it until the woman talked about it at a party. She has since been convicted of murder.

Four years probation and 1000 hrs community service for a fatal hit and run ?
That is truly sickening.

Even more disturbing is he got a REDUCED sentence for confessing to other crimes !? Wtf.
