It has come to my attention that my sarcasm was taken a bit too seriously. I love liberals. They live in the coolest places, they produce the best art, they create the best music, and they are generally amiable people. I also love gay people. They are friendly, caring, and generally charming people. I just just happen to disagree politically with most liberals, although I do agree that gays should be allowed to marry and enjoy the living hell of matrimony. So when I said that I meant what I said in a "positive way," I actually meant it in a positive way. Thanks and tuna fish.

There are plenty of people I would deem liberal that have the same qualities they're identifying in that quote. There is something about extreme conservative that turns me out though.

It was published in The Journal of Research in Personality, which is a peer-reviewed scientific journal. And it is just one of many reports produced over the years by the Block Longitudinal Study.
