If you, like us, receive Google News Alerts regarding SuicideGirls, then you too may have been taken by surprise and utterly confused to see The Sun headline proclaiming that "Suicide girls will target troops." Of course, it's a disturbing story that has nothing to do with SuicideGirls--simply an idiomatic coincidence. A Fark thread about it is currently unravelling.

I was wondering the same thing. The men are simply "suicide bombers," not "suicide boys." It's so demeaning. They should call them "Suicide Biznatches," or "Suicide Beotches," or "Suicide Bombichez." A little respect, please.

This has been going on for a long time - (there were many female suicide bombers in the Chechen war)....Actually - extremist groups are intentionally targeting women who are marginalized within their society, in some ways - it is just another form of oppression. If you can't fit in - why not be a martyr? Then you will be a hero(ine).....

The story only matters to the living. Dead is dead whether you're male, female, young, old, etc. etc. When everybody is a martyr, no one is. You know how many of those fuckers have blown themselves up? Can you name any? All they do is make families sad and eliminate individual idiots from the gene pool.
