Rather than focusing your energy on the touted evils of Christmas, why not direct your criticisms toward an animated children's movie instead? Turns out, Glenn Beck and Neil Cavuto of CNN Headline News and Fox News, respectively, have done just that. Media Matters reports that both men have claimed that the film Happy Feet depicts liberal views and environmentalist propaganda.

Karl Frisch, spokesman for Media Matters, responded by saying,

Can't we all just love the penguins?

Don't they also claim that the "the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" isn't really about Jesus?

Does this mean Happy Feet isn't about a chain smoking Penguin driving a hummer?

Letsee... movie about Penguins... polar regions covered with ice... global warming? I can see that message getting in there. Hell, look at Fern Gully. Or Captain Planet.

I can't imagine why they would want to stick that message in. The horror.

So what I'm hearing them SAY is that we shouldn't teach our children to be more respectful of our planet, and that conservation of nature is a bad thing.

Christ some people are just fucking stupid. The message was definitely in there, saw it with my own eyes two days ago...but I thought it was a great way to get "respect mother nature" across to young kids, ya know the ones that are buying the SUV's in ten years and throwing their big mac wrappers on the ground (currently)?

I've fucking had it. I liked the movie: message, tap dancing, bad disco music and ALL.

I think the penguis should dive bomb their beaks into both Glen and Neil's gay asses!

They must have realized that if penguins could talk, they'd disagree with the conservative viewpoints that allow people to destroy the environment, therefore they believe that the penguins should be destroyed before they learn how to talk. If I were them, I'd be more worried about the chimps and dolphins, since they're prolly alot closer to being able to talk to us than the penguins.
