In an attempt to win the creepiest person in the world award, Cindy Sheehan was recorded at a book signing in Palo Alto, California saying that she buried her uterus in Crawford, Texas. Pardon me while I wipe the vomit off my shit. Cindy explained her brave act to some poor bastard, who recorded it and has posted it on Hot Air.

Thank you, you horrible fucking monster. The reason there is not a uterus graveyard in every city is because we don’t bury them. Hospitals take care of that little problem. You don’t have to handle it yourself.

Hopefully Miss Body Organ Burier will be arrested because it is illegal in Texas to put your uterus in a hole in the ground where any motivated possum or raccoon can dig it up and have a feast. Can someone please stop the hippies?

Umm, this is seriously nasty. There was a time when I had a lot of respect for Cindy Sheehan, and I still feel terrible for the grief she must be feeling over the loss of her son.

But the heady blend of grief and fame has a way of rearranging people's judgment, and I think that's what has happened to Cindy Sheehan. She needs to learn to put away her own personal investment in the anti-war effort, abandon her desire for attention and get down in the trenches with the other people who are working tirelessly to end this miserable fiasco.

If it were me [and I had a uterus], I'd prefer to keep such esoteric acts of ritual and symbolism to myself.

If it really makes her feel good to do this, then I can't see any reason she shouldn't. But I can't help but think this screams of attention-seeking when she goes and makes public announcements about it, especially when so few people are going to understand.

She bothers me. I've hated Bush since day one, but I can't recall ever liking Sheehan's fruitless and tedious attention whoring. She is far too emotional to be effective.
