Idiotic women who actually voted for Bush in the 2004 election have finally realized how stupid they were and are are now turning against the Republicans. An AP poll found Democrats and Republicans now evenly split the support of married women with children in the house. In 2002 the Republicans carried this group by 18% and in 2004 Bush won it by 14%. But apparently the ladies are no longer terrified by the Republicans constant "terrorism-is-coming" talks. And the raising of terrorism warnings has vanished as it became all too obvious it was simply a political tool.

These married broads were very important for the GOP in 2002 and 2004, as they came out to vote in big numbers and kept the Republicans in control. They voted for Bush because of his social conservatism and because they liked Bush as a man. But that's all over. Today the Democrats only need to gain 15 seats in the house and 6 seats in the Senate to gain control.

The poll found that married dames are just as worried about health care the economy as they do about terrorism. They now believe Democrats would handle Iraq and the economy better than Republicans. They still favor the Republicans on terrorism because with Bush in office terrorism has greatly increased.

The women really speak their minds. Here's a sample:

"We're in a really scary place right now."

"People have no money. The economy is not going well."

"We're not happy."

"He's made some good decisions but I also think he's made some bad," she said, lamenting Bush's justification for going to war in Iraq. "I feel like he rushed into it."

You go girls.

This is a problem I have as well. While I am glad that people are finally coming around to seeing the light, as it were, I also get incredibly pissed off and just want to scream at them, "Where the fuck were you when you might possibly have made some difference?! A fat lot of good your concerns are doing now." It's not even worth saying "I told you so" to all the people who lambasted me for not agreeing with Bush or the war and who now have come around to the same conclusions; the words just taste too bitter in my mouth.

Guys, can't we just be happy that they're not going to be voting for Bush a third time?

Yes, I can, but I can also still be pissed off about the whole thing. Like I said, it all makes me just bitter, not justified or joyful; and I don't like that feeling.

No, he's just implying that all I do is write about Bush. Which is retarded becuase I'm a political editor and Bush is the President. So, basically, the conservative is a fucking moron.

Moreover, it's an "argument" that does nothing to refute the original piece. He might as well have been calling you a doody-head.

But anyway, if these dames knew what was good for them, they'd ask their husbands who they should vote for and vote red! That's the way God intended it. I swear, skirts these days are SO so dumb.

see what happens when you give rights to the ladies? if i was a politician, i'd so be kicking myself right now, but this may explain why republicans are trying so hard to undo the civil rights movement. i have a dream that one day we'll be rid of that silly "liberty" thing. sigh.

The fact that citizens believe that the president sent our troops overseas and not a vote by congress just shows how ignorant we truly are as a nation.

No wonder the presidential vote is decided by the electoral college and not the citizens.

Interesting that there were about two people in the whole thing that knew what they meant. And only one who realized they were making fun.

Incidentally, did you catch the SG shout out?

there are so many god damn stupid people in this country (not just the ladies) that you can be asured that stupid things like these will continue to repeate themselves. it seems to be our nature. if we just for once had an actually intelligent person in charge... maybe then i wouldnt feel we are so doomed. but i think our stupid nature will just keep preventing that as well. shucks..
