Studies claim that Oxytocin (released during foreplay, orgasm, and the anticipation of sexual activity) peaks at levels 10 times higher during labor than at any other time in a woman's life. oxytocin is a pain reliever and increases pain tolerance so it would definitely help & having that kind of intimacy during childbirth sounds pretty great vs having my hand crushed but otherwise standing by!
