Hey babies!! I would like to know your guys’ opinion on treating addiction with CBD. My psiquiatrist told me it would help with treating my alcoholism and other addcitions lol. I’m a little skeptic about it beacuse I haven’t really seen changes in my brain or body. If CBD has helped you with any mental illness, I would please like to know your experience. Alcohol is literally the worst substance to use, and not only because it's nerve toxin that makes user totally irresponsible and careless, never a great combo. A study published on Lancet confirms that. It's the most damaging of all substances to the user themselves and people around the user. Opiates can't compete even when they're illegal. And that's one reason alcohol is legal, so that society can tax It's use to cover all the expenses it creates for society. Like medical and rehabilitation costs, missed work hours etc etc. And then there's immeasurable harm from like, violence, drunk drivers or neurological trauma from alcoholic parentsd and stuff like that which may create knots in brains, like disassociation disorder etc other posttraumatic disorder types that are largely unknown to modern neurology. These knots may never get untangled even with lifelong intensive psychotherapy. And since ethanol is also easy to make yourself, there isn't much alternatives than trying to combat it's harms by taxing it's users, complete bans hasn't worked anywhere ever, but only increased problems as it's then also illegal so organized crime gets involved on it's regulation, and so on... Why am I saying all this, you might wonder? More I knew about the harms not just for me but starting to take people around me in calculation, more motivated I was to quit it myself, a decision that has kept since. Kind of, I see no reason to be absolutist with it if you have reasoned yourself out you're always motivated not go too far with it, at least no hangover in over a decade. Eventhough I also replaced it with pot, which has lost it's edge in a decade or so but gave time to find healthier and much more constructive addictions. One being simply: reading...
