Desperate Surfers During The Quarantine
Santa Cruz, California is entering its third month of the shelter in place order, and in the video you can see scores of surfers have shown up for a very meager surf, haha! They are SOOO bored at home that they came out here anyway, even more amazing since only two weeks ago a surfer here was attacked and sadly killed by a Great White shark.

The water is pretty chilly up near here and San Francisco, even in the summer, around 55 F or 13 C. It takes my breath away when I step in for a swim without a wet suit! Maybe I'm just a softie.
