Carnival Nocturnus in Vancouver July 27, 2007
Ok so for those of you that don't know what Carnival Nocturnus is, it's a festival for DEATHROCK,BATCAVE,POST-PUNK, PSYCHOBILLY,ROCKABILLY,GOTHABILLY AND anything else involved with the underground horror scene's (So this means no metal and yes that includes marylin manson and his followers, no punk rock, no industrial or techno inspired music. You have your own events, go to them) .It's a special day to celebrate our hidden culture, make friends and have a good time with people who share you interests
I would like to proudly announce that Jenny and I will be starting this annual festival on July 27 2007!
When: JULY 27 2007
Time: MEET 12:00 NOON PST(pacific standard time) outside the front gates of Playland (some of us may be in the park across the street), we invade at 1 pm and leave at Closeing (9 pm)
PLACE: we are going to be hosting this event at PLAYLAND amusement park. tickets are about 40$ + tax .CAN. $
We do appreciate all the support from our friends and fiends for the starting of this event. However this event is intended for people who are A PART OF or are interested in this type of music and/or life style. Also please no drugs and/or booze in the park because I and other people do not want to sit in puke and tears. My point is don't let the staff see you drinking or doing something stupid to get you kicked out other than that i don't care. This isn't serious 24/7 beware of what you say kinda thing, just use some common sense.

Afternoon:
Meet outside Playland gates at noon, we'll invade at 1 pm, because people are always late.
Costume contest is at 3 pm!
Sweets for best bloody, strange, carnival costumes!

EVENING
Dinner picnic is at 6 pm across the street from the main entrance, theres a large park there. were not hard to miss and we'll be under the tree's of course. so bring food or buy it. (theres a MC Donalds up the street)
NOTE: please keep your stubs and make sure you still have your stamp still visible before you leave the park to re-assure your re-entry.
Mini-Golf contest Hahaha i know i suck at mini-golf! have you ever hit someone instead of the ball?!? Well it's time to cause some concussions! last one out of the course alive wins!
MINI GOLF CONTEST WILL BE CANCELED IF WE GET A LIVE VENUE GOING!
PUBLIC TRANSIT:
take the skytrain to 29 avenue station.
Take the number 16, arbutus and get off when you see the the PACIFIC NATIONAL EXHIBITION sign.
Walk straight down east hastings street until you see the Playland entrance.
If you drive....hmmm mapquest... I but suggest taking the bus cause there no free parking for miles. parking in there lots as far as i remember was about 2.50 $ and hour.

On a side note I will be the Event Photographer and I will be bringing release forms along if you do not want your photo taken that is perfectly alright unless you have signed the release form.
