I am feeling old today. I got very sick last night. Got a major fever. It was so random and awful. I feel better now, but I had to call in sick for work today, so now I am worried about money...again. *sigh*

I have a doctor's appt tomorrow and I'm nervous. I also have to work with someone tomorrow who has very negative energy. It's always a challenge to not let her take all of my lifeforce. I really need a new job. Really.

So, did you buy a home in Texass? I've always wanted bamboo floors too. I would love to tear out these apartment carpets! I'd rather have sub-floor at this point. They're ugly and they smell. It makes me hate my living space. I am supposed to move yet again at the end of January. I really want to get out of this apartment complex type living crap.

Sorry, I just realized that I am not feeling too "up" today. That happens when I am not feeling my best. *bigger sigh*

Wow, you are handy! I like to think I'm handy, but I don't think I truly am. Those are so cool. I wish I owed a home, so I could line my fence with those. I love plants and flowers - all that naturey growing stuff, really.

I am glad you're back. You went gray for a bit. I was sad. Care to message me your email or something, just in case? I've been quiet on here for a bit, but I've been dealing with life crap - health stuff, job stuff, money stuff, emotional stuff - you know how it goes.

I finally got the spare room cleaned out and have all intentions of setting up an art area. I need to create! I've been so stagnant lately. It's feels icky, you know?

You're selling prints? Where? I want to see! I've taken pics, but haven't updated my photo journal as of late. I need to get on that, even if it's just for my own sense of accomplishment. *sigh*

I'm hanging in there, man. I've forced myself off of the ibuprofen, plus I've been off prednisone for about a month now and haven't had any alcohol in that time, either. I'm trying to give my liver a break, and it was getting so that the ibuprofen was less effective as I'd built up a resistance. I've had a hard time maintaining my level of physical activity with the increased pain and joint inflammation, but that just means I have to dig a little deeper, work a little harder. Wah, yadda yadda.

So, yeah... happy friending, and all that jazz.

No one ever tells me why they want to friend me and chances are, they never even post to my journal. I thought I would try to do unto you as I wish others would do unto me.

It was purely selfish. We had some things in common (things I find important to my personality) and that doesn't happen often, so thus... friending.

1) Cats, kitties, furballs of meow - I will someday be known as the *Insert word here* Cat Lady. I would have them all if it weren't a sign of mental illness and they didn't poop so much. That would be a lotta poop for an old lady to clean and that's no good.

2) Digital photography - I have recently discovered that taking photos (and being rewarded with an extra cool artistically pleasing one) makes all the voices in my head quiet and my mind becomes peaceful. I call it "listening the The One Voice", or the genuine me. If you care to see, I have a photo journal that I am way behind adding pics to, but here you go anyway.... My Photo Journal .

3) I occasionally, and have recently, started random bickering, bitch-fights with perfect strangers online. It is petty, but sometimes their stupidity and cluelessness posesses me and all of the Buddha's teachings fly right out of the window. I use my mean wit and I play to win. Then I worry about Karma. (Disclaimer: This isn't a regular thing I do, but I just lost my mind the other night and got into it with some dumb girl on a band fan group, so when I read your entry mentioning your urge to do the same, it stuck out in my mind.)

So, those are my reasons. (Unless you count a secret reason - I hate Texas, and when you speak ill of it, it makes me giggle.)

There you go, and thanks for the kind words in my journal. It's been kinda rough. *sigh*
