Indian Larry, R.I.P,
he died happier that most of us ever will.
the threads about his passing, no place for your holier than thou "should have been wearing a helmet" bullshit.
if you don't ride: SHUT THE FUCK UP AND KEEP YOUR UNINFORMED OPINIONS TO YOUR DAMN SELF. YOU CAN'T BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND...
if you do ride: YOU SHOULD KNOW BETTER...
you want to wear a helmet, go for it, you don't, MORE FUCKING POWER TO YOU...
I've crashed, and helmets have saved my good looks and my life. I always wear one, and not just because it is the law in WA. But if you don't want to, or you want to wear one of the next to useless half shells, I support your decicion 110%. Wearing a helmet is no guarantee that you'll survive a crash or walk away uninjured. it's just another illusion of safety. Riding will kill ya, and I hope to hell that's how I go... 100mph with a smile on my face. only true riders can understand. Riding is about FREEDOM, it's about danger. I never feel more alive than when I dive into a corner twice as fast as I should, shit eating grin on my face, happy that I am unable to piss my pants or I probably would.
Again, if you don't ride (passengers included), shut the fuck up and keep your lame ass opinions to yourself.
if you do ride, shut the fuck up, get on your bike (helmet or none, doesn't matter), go for a ride and think of Larry, of life, and how god damn good if feels to ride.
