in another installment of "things in texas that make you say WTF?!?!"
while driving yesterday, I noticed a sign for a frame shop. first, in the middle of BFE, why would someone start a frame shop? do alot of people get custom frames for thier confederate flags? thier autographed photo of some lame nascar "driver"?
second, I'm sure this genius thought the name they came up with was oh so clever given the nature of the business. but down here in the south, english seems to be a second language after 'hickese'. the name they proudly advertised? "cut the corners" custom frames. if you are framing a picture, why would you cut off the corners? but more importantly, in most of the civilized world, the phrase "cutting corners" means doing something wrong, doing a bad job...
and they wonder why thier business went tits up
