I hate Tyler...
I had heard that the medical community here was the best in east Texas... well so far it a level of care that belongs 20 years in the past. no 'at home' dialysis. 5 year old machines, staff that are not properly trained and poorly trained at that. My doctor is an asshole with a god complex. my first meeting with him went south quickly:
doc asshole: "I hear you have some complaints?"
me: "yes I have some concerns"
doc asshole: "well we do things differently around here" said with a tone of voice and a look that said shut up, I don't care about your complaints seattle boy, you are just going to have to get used to our way of doing things.
I tried to get a new doctor, but they have all refused see me for two weeks. looking at my record that have labled me a 'non compliant" patient because I haven't had a standing blood pressure in awhile in Seattle.
do they think I'm stupid? in Seattle the dialysis centers were run by a non-profit organization, while here that are all run by for profit companies. the doctor only for certain clinics. and get this, these doctors are PART OWNERS of the clinics they work at. can you say conflict of interest?
