I went to a convention last weekend. It was a long long journey to there. It was cancelled two times because of Corona, but this year it took place. Learned a lot of new things there and was able to try new games and meet some new folks. The highlght was a rpg game Ten Candles If you have a possibility just try it! Playing...

In the basement there is an old box with even older books. My father read them in the past. I opened it and fished a small book out, with yellow pages, the covers bent to the outside, the printing cheap. It was "All Quiet on the Western Front" written by E.M. Remarque. I took it home and read it..... Seening the past generations living in...

Just finished reading that book. It is short, somehow painful but interesting and giving a new perspecitve on the life in a modern society. A story about a human/robot/vulcan person. Logic paired with the love to a ..... store. A strange story which questions the motivation and rules in the modern society. Great book, if you visit a 7-11, a Family Mart or a Lawson...

Read "Not This Immortal" written by Julia Zonis. Another great example that the authors "from the east" can write damn good short stories. At the glance it is an old idea of fighting wars in the virtual world. But but but... add some Matrix+vampires+angels+a good story+original details+corrpupt media and you are done. Great! If you find this (not so) short story read it. Just great!
Read "The Keep" written by Paul Wilson. A classic of horror, easy to read and presenting the reader with some few but difficult questions. Also saw the movie years ago. If you like dark castles, mysteries and a small portion of love deep in Rumania, that is a book for you.
..was some minutes on my balcony. It is a half hour to midnight and I can hear the calling of an owl. That is really cool. On the other side of the city my colleague filmed a wolf a year ago. Maybe the owl is talking to the ghosts living in the valley. In the past we got two castles there....
Just read "Mika Model" written by Paolo Bacigalupi. Short but heavy text asking difficult questions about feelings, intelligence and robots. The text was ordered by the Future Tense (a think tank and the Univ of Arizona). Never thought that such things can be ordered. Netflix bought the rights to this short story, maybe they willl make a film out of it. Just thinking now, which...

Written by Szymon Stoczek. Read this short story and finished three days ago. I don't know if you ever read this or if you ever stumble over it. But if... read it. Beautiful, touching and sad, but with a happy ending. Still thinking about it and about the meaning of the life.
@silentobjectorx nominated me for this difficult task.
Many thanks for that. Sometimes it is nice to think about myself.
Well zweitesich

Finally finally finally, finished this book. Took a long time to go. Many people like it and it is one of the milestones of SF. But it is not my cup of tea. Style is very light and easy to read but.... the content is somehow like the Hitchhiker (also not my cup of tea). Maybe I will try to read it a second time....
