A banjo composition in the tuning often used by Dock Boggs.
1. (used with a pl. verb) Theatrical arts or performances.
2. (used with a sing. or pl. verb) Exaggerated emotional behavior calculated for effect.
... to me, histrionics are to music composition as wasabe is to tapioca pudding.
For example, since the tune is kind of linear, I'd try incorporating a 16-step arpeggiator for the bassline. Also, since it's kind of lengthy, I think it would be more danceable with a beefier kickdrum sound. And right around 2:30 when you briefly change up the key, I would have expanded on that. Like, maybe add some sampled horn stabs and backup vocals.
