Well as of November 15th it will officially have been 2 weeks since I last got to see Steffanie, she's super busy with school work and things might not ease up for a little while. It sucks beans and is putting some stress on things, but i'm sure that we can wade through it, I mean, why should we just give up because things have become difficult, right?
Otherwise there's not too much happening with me right now, i've decided to get off my ass and build a computer. When I was at PAX this year I ended up winning a brand new Intel Core i7 Extreme processor, obviously not something I can slap into my laptop, it has been sitting on my shelf for a few months. Mocking me, looking bored. Unfortunately this just means I have to spend more money on the rest of the hardware i'm going to need. So far with the main parts listed up:
Yup. $914 and change.
Still to be added to that are Keyboard, Monitor and wireless card.
I suppose I lucked out on the processor, because well...
Yup. Just that one part is over $1200. Counting this as a large improvement to my budget.
I've never built a comp before so i'm really excited to do so. I'm glad i've got some friends who have helped me out tons so far by making recommendations and suggestions with advice.
