okay, so there's been a lot of silence from me as of late, so I guess I should update this bitch.
1) My laptop shit the bed on me in February, apparently I burned out the motherboard, it's currently in for repairs to get it de-borked but until that time comes, i'm stuck using the POS computer we have which runs like a bag of rocks. It's been a month since it died and i'm aching to get it back.
2) Nice weather is finally here! It's been sunny and getting warmer as of late. Still need a sweater or a jacket, but it's a million times better than snow or rain.
3) Alyssa and I are still in contact, we currently have plans for her to come down for a visit at the end of the month, assuming she can get the money to do so. I've already offered to pay for her return ticket, so she'd just need to find the $20 she'd need to get here.
We ended up having a brief but good conversation about our situation and where it's going. I'm very open about how I feel about her and I don't hide it. Reminding her that i'm not going to be able to wait for her forever, she soothed my tensions by telling me that she knows that she's going to end up with me and that we'll be together for a long time. The big downside is that she isn't looking to start a relationship any time soon. Which I can understand, honestly I can.
I suppose i'm just scared that she's going to meet someone new and i'll be pushed off to the side again.
Either way, things are looking up in the long run. I just hope it's not TOO long.
