I was going to go visit my family for christmas, but ended up getting freezing rain.....to start things off.
I decided it wasn't worth the risk to travel, with the blizzard we were supposed to get......
So I called my dad to tell him I wouldn't be there, and while talking to him the rain changed to snow.
We have 16 inches here so far ( 40cm ) but there are drifts that are over two meters high.Supposed to get 5 more tonight....... All of the roads are closed. People are travelling on the streets with snowmobiles.
My dad got about 24 inches of snow, I guess..... so it's probably good I didn't go.
Christmas at my grandmas got cancelled. She is at my aunts house, they're snowwed in. 4x4 trucks can't even make it through those roads.......and they won't be plowwed until tomorrow or sunday.
