You kids and your camping trips. Apparently, the ECCT was in my back yard for YEARS and I didn't know. Well, mostly because as long as I've been on the site, I've been in CA and CO. BUT I grew up like 15 minutes away from the old site of the camping trip. And I'm moving back there in November, so that means we will be practically neighbors.

Nah, just kidding, I'm glad to hear that other's have survived encounters with trains, actually I read a story about a shih tzu that was run over by a train twice, the first time it didn't get hit and the second time the snow plow hit it, he's doing fine, the conductor went back looking for him and found him dazed and has been nursing him and caring for him.
I don't know if it bugged me that he was hit, or that someone let this cute little dog run around on it's own to find itself in this situation. I am just glad it had a happy ending.
