this is what my bedroom furniture looks like:
i've been putting stickers on them one at a time since oh, middle school? i love the way it looks- i don't like clutter, but i like a cluttered look... if that makes sense. i want cover every surface so that you can't tell its white furniture anymore. and i think from an aesthetic standpoint, it'd look better with 1,000 random stickers instead of me going to the arts and crafts store and buying 1 of every package of everything.
so if you have stickers lying around that you don't want or need, send em my way. PM me for a mailing address. oh and thanks to infinity, he's already given me a great head start!
last night katerina celebrated her birthday in pure, unadulterated sgnj style. happy birthday to my favorite sexy bitch! slainte!
i'm gonna miss girls night in.
oh, and thanks to mydogfarted for driving my drunk ass home. it feels good to be responsible once in a while. then i got to go for a nice walk today to go get the car, and i saw a cop pull someone over for talking on their cell while driving.
i've got a second video idea but i'm just too down today to shoot either of them. i'm trying not to bring you all down with me by distracting you with image-heavy blog posts. ain't i clever.
some shit i've been up to:
t-shirt surgery! before:
after:
since i spend too much money on clothes when i am swimming in clothes i don't wear, i figure i'll alter stuff. more money for beer, which i should not be drinking. more money for tattoos!
this is something i made for steve prue a while back:
and finally, this is one of many MANY collages i've done in the past few years. and yes, that is an authentic victorian tintype. i've got em all in my photobucket but i think maybe i'll just post em randomly.
it feels good to be creating stuff again.
speaking of stuff, i've got a tray of my favorite homemade stuffing in the oven and it smells delicious. can't wait to have a nibble. we eat a lot of bread and are bad about finishing it, so i save the ends of all the loaves and stray bagels and whatnot so that none of it goes to waste. and i recycle all the plastic bags!
being environmentally friendly is very important to me. we're trying to reduce our carbon footprint as much as possible. my next big project is phasing out a lot of the plastic we use, especially in teh bathroom. disposable razors, buh bye. no more facial scrub w microbeads (i.e tiny plastic particles that work it's way into the ecosystem and does not bidegrade EVER), and anti-bacterial soap. hello organic soap, diva cup (tampons and maxi pads are wasteful!), and homemade facial scrubs. so that's exciting. if anybody knows anything about organic/ environmentally friendly hair dye, give me a holler. i hate throwing out/ washing down the drain the toxic bleach i use in my hair.
ok kids, be safe and have fun!
oh and really? people talk good about me? that surprises me. lol.
(For laughter and fun, clicky above!)
