so friday night i said goodbye to gonzo77, aka the biff, and hopped into the car with justblaze. we were on the way to canadia for khoosapalooza! (he and i are apprently really pokey on road trips.) we stopped for gas, stopped for food, stopped for gas, stopped for coffee, stopped for bathroom breaks at the gas station without getting the gas we needed, sang along to nofx and just generally had a good time on very dark, windy mountain roads with no other cars. it started snowing about halfway up, and it was really surreal driving through that at 80 mph. despite the fact that we left about an hour and a half before mydogfarted, suri, and her husband (whose s/n i've consistently forgotten but he's so sweet) they managed to catch up with us at a "pickle park."

so we get to the border, and immediately we are told to pull over and get out of the car. long story short- and i do mean long, we were there for like 2 hours getting grilled- we didn't get arrested (SOMEBODY had way too much reefer on them...god was smilin down on yr stoner ass for sure!) but we didn't all get to cross into what i like to think of as "America Lite". but not to worry girl, i have canadian presents for you guys. send me yr addy.

so we get to khoos's place at what, 5 am? dead tired and cranky. well i was sure cranky. fuckin 30 different interstates and a bad case of road gas...mumble grumble. we were greeted by khoos, the absolutely adorable pisces101, king_mob, and acidstorm. bdeyed and turudd were already asleepin by that point so we met them in the morning.

oh, and for the record...5 people sleeping in 1 bedroom + all of them either snoring or suffering from sleep apnea= a rock and roll symphony. conducted by yours truly, darth vader. yes bitch, i AM your father.

after a big greasy breakfast (including tim hortons maple glazed crack balls and pancake sammiches stuffed w whip cream and bacon), saturday consisted of khoos' whirlwind tour of all things canadian. the beer store- where i discovered several NEW and EXOTIC varities of my favorite beer PBR, canadian tire (see below for a video of my discovery at canadian tire- i.e what somebody had better be getting me for my bday in june!), lcbo for weirdo canadian booze, bulk barn, and the chip truck (for anyone from jersey, it's like a grease truck at rutgers. except they don't serve fat bitches). um, yeah. HOLY SHIT, POUTINE! i'm really sad to admit it, but poutine is WAY better than disco fries. i actually had to bring home a bag of cheese curds to make it myself. *hangs head in shame* oh and clifton bought a rubber chicken dressed in drag.

we were going to go ice skating, but all that shopping wore us out so we headed back to khoos' for a disco nap. or rather, cracking open a beer and getting into sg chat. turns out that's when the party started, as all good parties should start at 4 pm. since i discovered that canada sells tylenol w codeine OVER THE COUNTER, a lot of the night is fuzzy for me. (and yeah, half a case of pabst honey brown!) but i do remember giving bdeyed and mdf mowhawks, hopping into the hot tub w khoos and bdeyed, seeing the thunder brought upon a hapless ottoman (that fucker deserved it!), trick pants, icnoxcuse being hog tied in a sexy sort of way, gnawing on canadian pizza, and passing out at like 1030. apparently somewhere in there i joined the geezers group. oh and fell flat on my ass into a pile of garbage.

sunday clifton (i.e justblaze) and i skipped seeing the capital building in favor of getting home before midnight. good thing too, as we rolled up to my place at 930 and found my awesome bf waiting with a roasted chicken dinner! ate, gave him presents, and passed the fuck out. it was truly a stellar road trip. i love meeting new people on sg, they are 99.99% of the time people i'd love to be friends with for life!
