Whee. Working on a paper in regards to contrasting various respective mythologies throuhout the world. Not a boring task, but a bit annoying at times.
This week in comic books was kind of odd, honestly. Secret Six is a pretty nifty book from DC's perspective, it regards the world from the villain perspective - and they much more violent than they ever were in the hero books. I'd say its probably the best book of the week. The most disappointing is Y: The Last Man, which is normally one of my favorites. They spend the entire issue in a long and, mostly, meaningless flashback with Dr. Mann. I hope that the book starts to wrap up some time soon, its really gone on a longer time than it should have. Finally, the most confusing book I've read in a while is the Supergirl book. It dives headlong into the one year later plot and just gives you no chance to swim along. But, as confusing as the story is it is interesting and the art is sweet and despite being 16, she's a sexy girl. Rowr.
