i have one that isnt even waterproof and i still clean it with water and its never broken.
maybe theres a short in it? i assume you took the batteries out of it first lol
so maybe let it dry out longer if all else fails you can leave it out in the 92+ degree sun outside for it to dry out lmfao! but then again maybe it was just it's time to go and the motor crapped out
